Arrived at Hervey Bay today in torrential rain!! Cant believe this weather!! Thought we might get a little sunshine! David tells me Friday will be fine---sure hope so! We have a beautiful unit with amazing views over the sea. We can do some whale watching from our deck!! WE went for a drive to Point Vernon as it was too wet to walk. Love Hervey Bay so much!!
I recognise the spot where the rocks with the mangrove trees coming out of them are, on the way along the Esplanade at the start of Point Vernon!! I was going to sit and paint them last time I was there, but never got around to it.
ReplyDeleteCheck out Dundowran and Craignish - lovely spots only 5 minutes out of Hervey Bay. Someone told me that he calls Hervey Bay the 7 minute town, as you can go anywhere in 7 minutes!~ Enjoy, Liz xx
