Exhibition and Brisbane

WE had the best day in beautiful Brisbane today. WE walked to GOMA---Gallery of Modern art----my favourite place ever!! I Saw this absolutely beautiful exhibition "Modern Woman---Daughters and Lovers---DRawings from the Musee D`Orsay, Paris". It takes my breath away to stand in front of an Degas, Renoir,and even Toulouse Lautrec. Mary Cassatt is another favorite of mine that was featured!! Makes me shed tears to stand before such beauty.





Then David and I caught a ferry and went down the river and back to the Botanical Gardens for a  stroll----love this city that is so accessible and absolutely beautiful!!

    It all looks soooo wonderful. And to see paintings by Renoir (sigh) and Mary Cassatt who I also admire as a woman artist, just fills you up inside doesn't it? Have a great day again today - I will be sorting out Quoll Eftpos business!!

      I have been emersed in art with my niece Gail. We saw a wonderful exhibitio this morning before we left Brisbane. Just loved it Liz---have catalogue to show you. SUEX
